Newspaper ClubThe Newspaper Club is open to students in grade 5 through 8 who attend St. William of York Catholic School. The Newspaper Club is responsible for writing, editing, and publishing our school newspaper “The Panther Post”. Our First Edition made its debut this past September 2005. Our monthly articles are as follows: Saint of the Month, Catholic Question of the Month, New Student of the Month, Class of the Month, and Teacher of the Month and many more. Our founding Panther Post director was Mrs. Colleen Driscoll. All the staff reporters are trained in computer software publishing skills that are required for the publication of our newspaper. The students are guided by:
Mrs. Marie Penninger our Director and Writing Director Mrs. Rosario Carrington our Computer Advisor We meet every Tuesday and Thursday after school from 3:30 pm - 4:15 pm in the computer lab. Interested students who would like to join our newspaper staff may sign up with Mrs. Carrington. Send this permission slip in to the school office to Mrs. Carrington's box.
